There were, during my 5 year career in styling, more than a few days where I was blown away by certain levels of insanity and frivolity that permeate the fashion world to the degree that I almost questioned the whole thing. Certainly I ultimately left the business (though for how long remains to be seen). Somehow, though, I have always been able to hang on to my love for crazy, over-the-top street fashion (ie outfits/hairstyles normal people wear that theoretically really have no business anywhere but on the page).

Because if we never saw anything like this in person, there would be a little less joy in the world. Am. I. right.
