That's a wrap!

Yesterday, we wrapped filming on our newest Enchanted short. We're so excited about it, and will be forever grateful to our wonderful cast who once again gave up their Sundays to help make something magical. Now comes phase 2: Chris will be scoring it and Haley will be editing. She did such an incredible job 2 years ago; I can't even imagine what new tricks she has up her sleeve now that she has that much more experience under her belt!

We promised we'd let you in on what new Enchanted Royals fun we've been cooking up...so here's a sneak peek. This Sunday was day one of shooting our new music video promo for our shoes, totes, and tees (find them here). It's going to be exciting and just as much fun as our last three! Some new characters will be introduced; one in particular that we're SO jazzed about...but all in due time!

Son Ark

Over the last few weekends, Son Ark, the band Chris plays bass for, has held a few practices in his living room that they've recorded. Jessi, our friend who is also a singer/songwriter, and I did some serious videotaping, and the end result was pretty awesome! Here's a few examples of what they've edited together so far. I really believe in these guys- not just because they're some of my best buds! Enjoy...

Our Story

We made three music videos last spring to introduce our line and spin the tale of our Enchanted characters in a fun and beautiful way. The songs are by Warm Air Telegraph, a music project Dara and her man friend Chris were doing at the time. (Chris is now the bass player for a really amazing bluegrass/folk indie band based in L.A. called Son Ark...love.) The lovely Carol directed, Haley edited, and each and every actor in the videos are good friends of ours who ran around the hills of Santa Barbara in crazy costumes purely out of the goodness of their hearts! Not to mention our amazing directors of photography; Katie, Lana and Katie, our dear friend Sarah who baked tons of psychedelic neon cupcakes and the awesome Ryan who created some sets that were not to be believed. We love these videos and we hope you do too!
