In the midst of a lot of really obnoxious car-related unpleasantness this morning, which I will not get into because that energy really doesn't need to be permeating this or any other corner of cyberspace, suddenly this song by Crooked Fingers came on my Ipod. It's a duet from his latest album, Forfeit/Fortune, with Neko Case (clearly my fave), and it shot a nice bolt of awesome right through my crappy, crappy morning.
So please enjoy that, and while you're at it, have at this song from Eric Bachmann's solo project...the one song in 5 hours that made me cry as Chris slept while driving from LA to San Fran last week:
