The first weekend in October is Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival in Golden Gate Park! I'm so excited. Last year, a bunch of us rented a minivan and drove up from Los Angeles (which was awesome in and of itself), and it was great. There's yet another amazing lineup this year...Saturday has a sprinkling of folks I'd like to see, like Gillian Welch, Steve Martin (yup, THAT Steve Martin) and the Old 97's; but Sunday's going to be the real draw. I'm talking Billy Bragg, Old Crow Medicine Show, Dr. Dog, Aimee Mann, and of COURSE Neko Case. That's not even the whole lineup- and best of all, it's FREE!
Cannot wait. What an exciting fall!
