Dr. Martens DIY

Take one pair of brightly colored, yet rarely worn Dr. Martens (save for Dara's fabulous look below)....

... and add haphazard coat of white spray paint, to give a soft neon pink glow... I hope.  Am I crazy for wanting to do this?

These photos from the "Endless Summer" spread in Australian Vogue's Dec. 07 issue, have been in my inspiration folder, tempting me to do so for a long while...  I'll post the results soon!

Sweet Dreams

I've actually seen this before and had forgotten all about it, but when Stephanie posted it today, I knew it had to be shared further.

Camera needs a brand new bag

I've been carrying my camera around in the king of all touristy 60-year-old-man bags for the past few months since buying my new digital, and it's time for a change. I LOVE this:

Touch on the side of pricey, though. Any suggestions?

Cinco de Mayo

Did you have a fun Cinco de Mayo? We took a decidedly economical route and had homemade tacos and Simply Lime Margaritas (which are the best idea ever, by the by) at my beloved former roomie's new treehouse home.

Festival of Colors

March 11th was the Festival of Colors, or Holi. It's a Hindu holiday celebrated in India to mark the coming of spring. You can read about it here, and also definitely check out Poras Chaudhary's breathtaking photos on Flickr.

San Francisco Treat

Chris and I took a trip up to San Fran for a long weekend because our friend was hosting a video game tournament at his apartment. Some more of my moving-related fears were assuaged by some fantastic people and by a little town we call San Francisco. (PS: In the links section to your right, you will find a link to my Flickr, in case you're interested!)
